We can’t stop thinking about the future

Pedestrian or not?  It’s up to you.  If you are super rich.  You can take a holiday in Space.

If not there is Aleksandra Mir’s book.

It’s title is ‘We can’t stop thinking about the future’ and features some of this art.

You can buy it at Tate Gallery Bookshops and at Modern Art Oxford where her Art work is also on show.

All of these colossal art works were done with a black sharpie.

I stand there so you get a feeling of scale.

I am a pedestrian yes.

And I bought the book £13.99 from the bookshop as it popped for me.

Full of art inspiration and of course not without some critique.

There are a lot of outdated satellites up there in the space junk.

And the others are looking at me typing this about them.

If you want to join up via cyber space the first Sunday morning of December say hello to us here and find more unusual books introduced by their authors

  1. That is amazing, all that art on the walls done by a sharpie. Wouldn’t have known until you said it, Lita. Just by looking at it, can tell that a lot of work has gone into it 🙂 Hope all is well 🙂
