Liz is a mindfulness expert with an exciting new publication.
A new lighthearted and fun way to learn about mindfulness and meditation.
Mindfulness is great! It can help you relax, stop living in your head, and enjoy being you. So why call it MindFOOLness? Mindfulness with jokes? Is that allowed? Well, why not? Mindfulness isn’t medicinal. Just because it’s good for you doesn’t mean it has to be dull, and it doesn’t mean you have to be perfect. The good (or possibly disappointing) news is that Mindfulness doesn’t have to involve shaving your head and spending years in a cave deep in the Himalayas, with only your faithful but stinky yak for company. In fact, you could just start with a humble raisin.
This book will take you through 10 simple exercises to help you to learn to be more mindful. In the process, we also aim to make you laugh with the help of our cartoons. It’s an ideal gift book for a friend who’s either wellbeing mad or always intends trying out mindfulness and meditation but doesn’t quite get round to it. The book has been created by Liz Smalley, a mindfulness expert and Tara Roskell a graphic designer/creative thinker.
